Construction of Açu Station begins at the Port Complex

R$ 3 million in investments are expected

This week, Euro Urbanismo initiated the construction of Açu Station, a convenience center in the Port Complex. With 8,000 square meters of total area and 2,000 square meters of gross leasable area, Açu Station will be designed to facilitate services which will support the functioning of Açu’s Port Complex. This undertaking is a partnership between the Port of Açu and Euro.

The project, expected to receive R$ 3 million in investments, will offer offices, shops, a food court, a coworking space and a medical center. Restaurants, banks, maritime brokers and accountants are some of the businesses that will be able to provide services at the location.

The project was based on surveys with the port’s current customers and was created to fulfill their demands. “This project comes meeting the demands of our customers for day-to-day conveniences and facilities,” explained Rafael Viana, Port of Açu’s business developer.

“Açu Station is one more facility for companies that set up at the port. We are in advanced stages, talking with various groups interested in joining the project and we are really optimistic,” said Igor Pessanha, responsible for Açu Station’s marketing. The center’s development is done by Euro, in partnership with a group of investors, including one businessman from Campos dos Goytacazes.

Operations in Açu Station are expected to start in the second half of 2018.
