Representatives of 20 companies from Espirito Santo State were welcomed today in the Port of Açu. The entourage, organized by the Industrial Foundation of Espírito Santo (FINDES), got to know the infrastructure of the port and the demands of the companies set up at the enterprise. The group visited the Iron Ore Terminal (Ferroport), the Oil Terminal (T-Oil) and the Multicargo Cargo Terminal (T-MULT), in addition to the area designed for clients. During the meeting, the entrepreneurs had the opportunity to present themselves and demonstrate their own products and services. The companies of the Port Complex also presented their needs.
FINDES 1.jpgFor Rafael Pinho, commercial consultant in the Port of Açu, this exchange was positive for both sides: “Our goal is to bring companies in operation in the Port closer to companies with experience in the market. It is to identify the companies which have the potential to become possible suppliers for the complex or even to install facilities in the future at the enterprise,” said Pinho.
At the end of the visit, the entrepreneurs explained their services for the Supply areas of the businesses installed in the port. The intention was, from this first visit, to make the possibility of new partnerships viable.
FINDES 5.jpgFor the Supply manager of TechnipFMC, Marco Perez, the event was very useful. “This type of meeting is extremely productive because it allows broader commercial relations between clients and suppliers. We have had the opportunity to talk with each interested business and our promise is to present them on the Latin American level, extending their services to other TechnipFMC units,” he added.
The Vice-Chairman of FINDES, Luiz Toniato, believes that the meeting is an opportunity to create conditions for generating future business: “This exchange is just as profitable for the companies of Espírito Santo, which could demonstrate their potential, as for the businesses already installed in the port, which can now depend upon a group of possible top-class suppliers, which already work for large companies in the sector,” he emphasized.
