Prumo Logística, the developer and operator of the Port of Açu, announced today that Henrique Gonzalez took over as Human Resources director, in a position that was just created. His mission is to set up the HR structure in the holding company and its subsidiaries.
Gonzalez is a board member of the Brazilian Association of Human Resources in Rio de Janeiro (ABRH- RJ) and has extensive experience in people management. In the last five years, he headed the HR division of the Organizing Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games. In that position, he managed a team of 160 that was responsible for selecting, recruiting and training 130,000 people who worked in the games.
Gonzalez started his career at Shell, where he worked for 19 years and became HR director for Brazil and later for Latin America. At Shell, he worked in many areas, such as Engineering, Operations and Finance, and these activities contributed to enhance his systemic vision of the business and the company.
