The ceremony took place at Hotel Copacabana Palace and was attended by representatives from several companies, including GE, Total and Amil. It was also attended by the Mayor of Rio de Janeiro, Eduardo Paes, the economic development secretary Julio Bueno, and the secretaries of education, Wilson Risolia, and Security, José Mariano Beltrame.
