São João da Barra trade association visits Açu Port

Group toured the enterprise’s terminals

Açu Port welcomed, on this Friday, 40 members of the Trade, Industrial and Rural Association of São João da Barra (ACISA). They visited the Multicargo Terminal (T-MULT), the Oil Terminal (T-OIL) and Ferroport, as well as the area hosting the enterprise’s clients. The group had the chance to get familiar with the port complex.

Before the tour, at the Visitors’ Center, ACISA members watched an institutional video explaining each field of work of the enterprise. Gleide Gomes, Social Responsibility Coordinator of Açu Port, presented more details of the space, using a maquette of the port to answer questions by participants.

During the visit, entrepreneurs sought to understand the needs of the port complex. “Our goal is to bring local businesses and the Port closer so that everyone can understand the demands of the enterprise, and maybe become suppliers in the future. With a closer relationship, it will be easier for us to get more competitive for upcoming bidding processes,” said ACISA Chairman René Fernandes de Azeredo.
