The Port of Açu offers a leading-technology industrial district, with a large available area (90 km²) integrated with two terminals to host facilities of multiple segments that need a competitive location in Southeastern Brazil, in addition to connection to sound port structure. Chemical, petrochemical, automotive, metal-mechanic, liquid cargo storage, shipyards, oil refinery, thermal power plants, logistics infrastructure, repair yards and other activities will be developed in the location in the future.
Access to the main highways in Brazil and connection with two rail stretches contemplated in the federal government’s Logistics Plan. Proximity with the Multicargo Terminal supports imports/exports of all sorts of products, along with 1 km² storage area.
