The Marine Fuel Terminal has been operated by BP Prumo — a 50-50 joint venture by Prumo and BP Marine — since May 2016. It is located in the Port of Açu’s Terminal 2 and has full infrastructure to meet the demands of vessels of all sizes and purposes.
These are some of the terminal’s key features:
– Responsible for handling and loading marine fuel;
– The terminal imports, sells and markets the product under the BP Marine brand;
– Next-generation infrastructure allows the port to welcome a variety of vessels, such as PSV, cabotage and long-distance ships; and
– 400m of quayside and 14.5m in depth.
